Soiree, It's GO time!

Updated information on the STJ Artist Meet n Greet and Soiree

The Artist Meet n Greet (Fri. 7-9) and the Holiday Soiree (Sat. 10 am – 3 pm) are scheduled as planned! River Rescue at the New Hope Eagle Fire Company has advised that the Delaware River will be cresting later this evening or early tomorrow morning.

Several back roads in the area were closed earlier today, including the New Hope-Lambertville Bridge, due to high water volume. Local businesses and residents residing directly along the Delaware River in New Hope, PA and Lambertville, NJ have been advised to evacuate as a safety precaution.

However, the New Hope Eagle Fire Company, the venue for our events, will be open and is not located in the downtown area along the Delaware River. Though parts of Rt. 29 were closed earlier today, many roads are still open and Route 202 is easily accessible to the Fire Company.

Alternative driving routes may be advisable if traveling tomorrow or Saturday. However, most major roads should be back to normal by later tomorrow afternoon. It appears as though it may be a slow news day, as many reports of flooding seem to equate to a world disaster! Such is not the case and we look forward to seeing you soon!!

SpookyTimeJingles New Group that is Open to all "creatives" on the Hive ONLY!

SpookyTimeJingles New Group that is Open to all "creatives" on the Hive ONLY!

I have wanted to start a group for a long time now, that combines STJ artists and STJ fans who also like to share in creativity and the process..whatever that may be for you (sketching, painting, scrap booking, poetry, etc...).

This type of group makes sense to me since, I often would like to add more artists to SpookyTimeJingles but cannot due to size constraints. When a marketplace gets too large in size it causes the viewer to lose interest because their is too much content to take in. Hence the reason for our 6+month wait list to join us plus we just do not have a lot of turnover.

So in creating this open group, I would so love a place where other creatives with the same interests (holidays) and goals (kindness and inspiration) as STJ could commingle and share in this holiday goodness together! I believe the HIVE has given us the perfect venue to make this happen.

Studio Magazine feature!

I am soo pleased to announce that I will have a SIX page feature in the upcoming Fall issue of Studios! Studio's magazine is an extension of Cloth, Paper, Scissors and will feature my Halloween Studio. My studio is part work space and part Halloween Gallery. I worked with a wonderful photographer named Andrew Wilkinson, owner of WilkinsonMedia.net.

I really adore the fact that my favorite artists that I represent on SpookyTime Jingles and have collected Halloween pieces from will be seen in print in my article!! I hope it brings them extra exposure and maybe even sales! How cool would that be?!

SpookyTimeJingles.com is hosting a special surprise guest artist for our 2nd Birthday Celebration this JULY 13th, 2010.
Of course the art stays up for sale all month until each original piece is sold. But we all know if you snooze you lose. Small change in the Door prize Winner Announcments!

Usually at the strike of midnight we try to announce the winners of our door prizes. But due to our increasing growth it has become clear that we can no longer continue the same format. We are getting LOADS of entries right up until the midnight hour. So to be sure that every entry that comes in before midnight when it turns to the 13th of the month, is counted, we will change our format a bit.

From now on the Door Prize Winners will be announced sometime on the 13th during the day. Winners will continue to be announced right here on our blog!

This change will allow us to count the entries much easier and to be sure each person entered is counted properly.
