When you see this magazine at your local book store (which is due out on Feb. 1,2010)...
pick it up and take a look inside!
Spookytimejingles artist, Marie Patterson, is included in this issue!
In addition to STJ, Marie is also a member of the Cloth/Clay workshop on Ning.com and participated in this group submission to the Art Doll Quarterly Challenge to create an "Upcycled Doll".
Upcycle art "upgrades" the materials that are usually thought of as unreusable.
For this project, the basic method for creating the doll which is taught in the Cloth/Clay workshop was to be used, and then the door was open to be creative!
The outfit for this doll was made with used dryer sheets and magazines....."upcycled into doll couture"!
You can find more work by Marie Patterson Studio, every month at Spookytimejingles.com.
